John Milton (1608–1674) has long
been considered the supreme
English poet. He is known for such
works as Paradise Lost (1667) and
Paradise Regained (1671). He was
a follower of Cromwell, a Puritan
and an ardent polemicist. In this the
400th year since his birth, join NGV
staff as they explore the influence
of this poet on future generations.
