John Milton Quatercentenary Short Talks

John Milton (1608–1674) has long been considered the supreme English poet. He is known for such works as Paradise Lost (1667) and Paradise Regained (1671). He was a follower of Cromwell, a Puritan and an ardent polemicist. In this the 400th year since his birth, join NGV staff as they explore the influence of this poet on future generations.
